We headed out last Monday to Joe's family reunion. It was about 2500 miles round trip with four kids. The trip went very well, especially if we compare it to last years trip. We arrived late Tuesday night and stay with Joe's brother. Wednesday we hung out and let the cousins play and we visited. Later that evening we went to Joe's sisters for a bbq and the lids got wet and played badminton. Thursday we were off to Lake Coeur d'Alene. The kids had fun in the freezing water and playing in the sand. Cole had a blast with Aunt Pam's dogs. Friday we had the opportunity to ride horses. Joe's brother, Paul, brought out four horses and we took turns riding them. Jacie and Jacob actually went riding by themselves. Jacob loved the experience and rode as much as possible, then offered to help take the horses back and clean them up. That was his favorite part of the trip. Later that afternoon we went to river front park and rode the rides. Saturday morning we met at Dad's graveside and headed back to mom's for family pictures and lunch. From there we headed home.
